The best reason to join the dojo is because you owe it to yourself to try Aikido.  Aikido can become a lifetime endeavor and has so many both long term and short term benefits.  You can immediately learn some practical self-defense techniques and how to fall, which is very valuable in life.  In the longer term we learn to relax as a normal part of our class, as well as to have better balance.  Aikido is very fun as well.  Most students report that their mood is lifted after class.   Of all martial arts, I believe Aikido has the greatest potential to change your life!
